The Orchards Hotel was acquired in 2012 from the Carlyle Group as part of a $13 million total investment program in a collection of inns, restaurants, and properties across New England.
The property is located in Williamstown, Massachusetts, in the Berkshire Mountains. A major regional destination, it is approximately 140 miles north of New York City and 120 miles west of Boston. It is also five minutes from Williams College, with a shopping center and Williams College Museum of Art within walking distance and accessible from the Albany International Airport.
The hotel included 49 rooms, suites, and over 3,000 square feet of event space. The Orchards has remained closed since the COVID-19 pandemic. Before closure, Hay Creek Hotels managed the property.
