GLOBAL EXPERIENCE


Stefanos Gavriil has leadership experience in property development, investment, and consulting across diverse sectors and geographies. Before joining Sparta Properties, Stefanos worked at PIX Colombia.
Prior to PIX, Stefanos worked as a Senior Analyst at PGIM Real Estate in London, where he was part of the Global Merchant Banking Group that analyzed, modeled, and structured multiple high-value joint ventures throughout Western Europe. Stefanos started his career in the Leadership Graduate Program of Cushman & Wakefield in London, where he advised multinationals on optimizing, acquiring, and disposing of their EMEA real estate portfolios.
Stefanos holds a Bachelor of International Business Administration from the American University of Paris (AUP) and an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid. He speaks English, Greek, Dutch, Spanish, French, Portuguese and German.


Andreas has extensive experience in banking and finance.
Before joining Libra Group, Andreas worked for Berenberg, the oldest owner-managed private bank in Germany for over 32 years. Over his time at Berenberg, Andreas held multiple senior positions in Commercial Banking, Correspondent Banking and Trade Finance to Head of the International Shipping Division, leading the growth of this division to the most profitable corporate banking sector.
He joined Libra Group in 2015 as EVP, Investments and helped advance and support the Group’s business growth with a main focus on real estate and maritime.
His role in the finance and corporate management domain encompassed a diverse range of responsibilities and achievements, with activities spanning multiple industries and regions, combining strategic insight with operational expertise to deliver measurable results in complex environments (S&P transactions involving commercial and hospitality real estate as well as M&A transactions in the banking and maritime sectors across Europe, the US and Northern Africa; Debt Management; Corporate Restructuring & Asset Consolidation; Finance Governance; Management of the German entity of Lomar Shipping Ltd., operating as part of Libra’s ship-owning and management group headquartered in London).
Andreas studied Corporate Banking at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.


George Avgoustis has extensive experience in the hospitality sector. During his career, he has held multiple managerial positions in hotel operations and the F&B sector.
In 2011, he joined the hotel industry in Crete in a department covering Reservations and Sales across multiple resorts, spas, and yachts. He joined Grace Hotel Santorini in 2013 and held several positions at Sparta Properties’ hotels in Greece. In 2017, he was made Assistant Hotel Manager at Grace Mykonos. In 2020, he was appointed General Manager of Grace Hotel, Santorini, recently voted by Travel + Leisure magazine as the No. 2 hotel in the world.
George joined Sparta Properties as Head of Operations at the beginning of 2022. He holds a BSc in Tourism and Business Administration from the University of Patras, Greece.


As General Counsel for Sparta Properties, Olga Theodosiou is responsible for all legal matters arising within Sparta Properties. This includes the legal aspects of structuring and executing sales and purchase transactions and any required management agreements.
Before joining a former sister real estate subsidiary of Libra Group in 2009, she was a litigation specialist in civil, contract, commercial, corporate, tort, property law, and leases.
Olga graduated from the University of Athens Law School and achieved an LLM in commercial law at Cardiff University in Wales, UK. She is a member of the Piraeus Bar Association.


Ilias Chlempogiannis handles day-to-day tax and finance matters for Sparta Properties and related group companies. Ilias joined a former sister real estate subsidiary of Libra Group in 2011 and became a senior accountant in 2019, becoming Chief Accountant of Sparta Properties when the company was formed.
He closely follows economic cycles and ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, and consolidating all transactions.
Ilias graduated in Accounting from the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki and received an MBA from the University of East London.


Alfredo Alonso joined Sparta Properties in January 2022 and is responsible for the company’s consolidation, financial reporting, and audit coordination. He is responsible for every operational process related to financial/administrative/fiscal matters in Spain.
He has experience working with international companies, participating in corporate strategies, implementing new organizational and controlling methods, and reporting directly to Boards. He is also an expert in designing, executing, and reviewing feasibility plans and cash flow projections.
Alfredo is a graduate of Economics from San Pablo CEU University in Madrid and has a Master’s in Financial Management.


Katerina Koutsodonti joined a former sister real estate subsidiary of Libra Group in 2008 as an assistant accountant. Since 2010, she has held the role of Group Financial Controller across multiple trading entities with diverse operations.
As a member of the Sparta Properties team, she oversees accounting operations and manages the company’s reporting.
Katerina holds a degree in business administration and works out of Sparta Properties’ Greece office.


Tina Taki worked for a former sister Libra Group real estate subsidiary from 2008 to 2009. She was initially a Personal Assistant, and she returned to that subsidiary in 2011 as an accounts officer.
From 2021, as part of the Sparta Properties team, Tina oversees, directs, and carries out payroll procedures. She is responsible for treasury payments and manages the company’s financial bookkeeping and records.
She holds a degree in Greek Literature from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specializes in educating children with special needs.


Valentina Perez joined Sparta Properties in June 2023, where she evaluates investment opportunities, collaborates with global teams to enhance portfolio asset performance, and conducts thorough market research to identify emerging trends in commercial real estate.
Before joining Sparta Properties, Valentina served as a Brokerage Services Associate at The Allen Morris Company, where she supported commercial real estate transactions, analyzed market data, and developed reports to support stakeholders’ decision-making. Before this, at Spartan Capital Securities, Valentina was an Equity Research Associate. She obtained the Series 7 License, giving her the distinction of General Securities Representative.
Valentina has an M.S. in International Real Estate and a B.A. in Finance and International Business from Florida International University.
